I am due October 27, 2009 and I am wondering if October Reese is a good girl name? Sincerely, Julie, Nicholas & siblings Ashton Nicholas & Logan Gabriel.

Hmm...I’m a little iffy on this one. It is unique, I’ll give you that, but I think it’s a little too out there for my taste. She may get teased and called Octo or Octopus. What about the name Autumn??

Sorry Autumn is to popular for me and is not my taste. And I would like to keep the original spelling.

What about a cute Halloween inspired name that is a little different, not too common?
Sabrina- Sabrina, The Teenage Witch
Prudence, Piper, and Phoebe- Charmed
Willow- Wiccan on Buffy
Tabitha, Clara, Serena- all on Bewitched
Catherine, Catalina, Catrina- all Cat names
Selene- Greek goddess of the moon
Raven- Edgar Allen Poe poem
Annabel Lee- Edgar Allen Poe poem
Jacqueline- Jack-o-latern
Lucy/Lucia/Luciana- means light
Aurelia, Auriel- means gold or golden (like the leaves changing to red and gold)

Ashton & Logan are 15 & 13 years of age and It was when the names weren’t so popular.
This baby girl is a oops baby!!!! I accidently got pregnant after I for got to take my birth control pills. Our goal was to have only 2 kids but now we are having 1 more.

October....that’s very unique name! Maybe you’ll start a trend. If you love it and you truly think it will be a blessing to her to have that name, then go for it!

Ashton & Logan are 15 & 13 years old. When I had them they weren’t not so popular then.

I have to agree that October just isn’t really a "pretty" name. Sounds kind of harsh, and not girly. Especially with Reese. Aren’t there any other names you have been considering?

I just talked with my husband and he loves Reese October, Emily Reese, Kaelyn Reese & Madelyn Reese. So we might go with the middle name Reese

I like October Reese as well. If she didn’t like it she could go by Reese. The other names are beautiful as well. I would vote for Kaelyn, it’s the least popular. GL!
