Lea vs. Leah

Hi, we can’t decide on the spelling Lea or Leah for our little girl due in November. Do you think Lea will get mispronounced to Lee or Laya? Also if you could suggest middle names that will be great too. Big brother is Reilly Stephan. Thanks, Patrick and Courtney.

I wouldn’t think Lea was (Laya). I worked at a health club for five years, and there was this girl that would check in, and I’d think (Lee-uh) everytime, even though her name was pro. (Laya).

Last name is Greenwood. Thanks, I like really like Caroline, Jasmine and Karis. Jaslene is nice too.

Lea would absolutely NOT get mispronounced! It is the name Lea/Leah/Lia 100%. Actually I know 2 Lea’s and they are both spelt like this. I dont really prefer one spelling over the other I just know that it absolutely will not get mispronounced if that us your worry. GL

I think it would get mispronounced as Lee quite a bit actually. I think Leah is the best way to not have it mispronounced ever. Leah Noelle is cute!

leah is more complete than lea but if you prefer is pronounced LEE-ah then i would spell it LIA
