We want to name our son after my father who is Johnny but i want it pronounce the french way, oldest son is AlexZander pronounce the Z. would that be odd in the states?

I just looked up Jovan and the website I looked up said it was Slavic?? Are you sure that is the French way? It doesn’t sound very French.
