Lani Felicia vs. Other Name?
I am almost there. Thank you to all of you who’ve helped me on this. We’ve dropped Reagan from the decision because it really doesn’t go well with Maddie. We are really liking the combo of Maddie and Lani. We would like to spell Lani (Laney) with an I. Maddie is her full name also, it isn’t short for anything. What do you think of Lani Felicia? Any other suggestions to go will with Maddie Brianne?

I love the name Felicia.
I think that if you are spell her name Lani but pronounce it LAY-nee, it will be MUCH more trouble than it is worth... because everyone else [removed]ads it is going to say LAH-nee. I think that would be a real nuisance for you, and her, to have to correct everyone’s spelling and pronunciations for the rest of her life... and I say this from the perspective of having and unusual name that I have to spell and correct ALL THE TIME. ;) It doesn’t stop at the end of school with teachers and subs... now that I’m an adult in the working world, it’s really frustrating to still have to correct people for a decision my parents made in the 70’s. I’m just sayin’.
If you like the name Lani, why not pronounce it LAH-nee? It is a Hawaiian name that means "sky, heaven."
Otherwise, why not spell it Laney Felicia or Lainie Felicia? That would make it easier for people who are reading her name, at least.
Other suggestions...
Allie Nicole
Brooke Annelise
Carrie Elyse
Casey Elizabeth
Hannah Claire
Kendall Savannah
Lainie Christine
Morgan Sabrina
Reagan Felicia
Taylor Sophia
Best wishes!

DISLIKE, especially because Lani looks like it should be pronounced Lonny.

I agree, I would pronounce Lani as Lah-nee, similiar to Lana which is pronounced Lah-na or Law-na. If you want Lay-nee I like the spelling Lainie or Lainey.
