Brook vs. Or vs. Brooke?

Hey! I’m expecting a little girl soon and I plan to name her Brook(e). I want to know, if the name Brook(e) is cuter with an "E" at the end or not with it at the end. My daughter's name is Brooklynne Hope and she is wanting to shorten to Brook, but all her teachers insist on putting at e at the end. My daughter (9 yrs old) thinks they are calling her Brooky, I tried to explain it to her but she insists it's a hard e sound (she isn't sure she likes that or not, lol)
