Annistyn vs. Anniston vs. Annisten

Help me find a middle name for Annistyn. Also, which spelling do you like the best? And finally, what is your opinion of this name? Does it remind you too much of Jennifer Anniston, or can you see past that? Thanks for you help!

It may be just me, but I do immediately think of Jennifer Anniston. However, I do like the name as a first name.

I think Anniston is best like Anniston!
I think its a really cute name and so uncommon these days, although is getting more and more poular these days!

I too think the spelling Anniston is the best. And the nn Annie/Anna makes it cute, elegant, feminine and spunky all at once.
Anniston Louise is a lovley name and would be a wonderful way to honor your mom. GL!

Yes, I am totally into honoring my mother and other family members, which is why we are leaning towards the name Annistyn (I’m still partial to this spelling!) My mom’s name is Diane, my grandma’s mn is Joann, and my hubby’s grandma’s mn is Ann. Therefore, I thought it would be ok to give her her "own" middle name. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Ooh, I like Annistyn Sophia! It really softens it. I also really like Annistyn Olivia, but spelled Alyvia. Last name starts with Van-it is too much, or does it flow nicely?

The OP prefers Annistyn, and everyone keeps using Anniston in the suggestions, but the poll is clearly showing Annisten. Why make the poll if not to at least humor it? ;-)

I love the name! We are goign to name our daughter Annistyn Elizabeth. I am nervous about the Jennifer Anistin reference, but I still think it is a really pretty name and by the time the child is 20 Jennifer will be 60 and probably not in the spotlight.

We just had a baby and named her Annaston. We went with ANNAston because then it is less like Jennifer. Our daughter is 4 months and only two people have made the Jennifer reference. Mostly, people love it. Especially the older generation, which surprised me.

I think Annistyn is more feminine looking than anniston annisten annistin and doesnt instantly bring jennifer to mind when you first see it. Jaide goes nicely as a middle name.

We named our daughter Anniston Rose in 2001. Anniston for Anniston Alabama and Rose for my husbands great grandmother. We call her Anni Rose a lot. We mostly leave it as is bc my husband doesn’t like to shorten it.

I don’t have a specific recommendation for the last name. The first name is sweet, either way. It could go with either one "n" or two.
