Kylan - Girl? vs. Kylan - Boy?
I’m only 4 months pregnant, but my hubby and I have already started discussing baby names. I really like the name Kylan (ky-len) but I want other peoples’ opinions on whether you think its more a girl name or a boy name? Thank you everyone!

I would say it’s a boy name along the lines of Rylan, Kalan, Jaylan...
Boy. Just like Kyle, Kyler, Kyan, etc. Kyla would be a nice name for a girl.

I feel that it could be used on either one and it be just fine. But if you use it for a girl, her middle name should be a real girly name imo. Not another unisex name. GL!

I would say it’s a girl name. I have a cousin who has a 2 year old named Kyler. They are always having to repeat his name and explain to people "It’s like Tyler, but with a K."
I’m afraid people may say to yours "It’s like Kyle and Ryan mixed together."
So it’s definately boy.

Girl, due to the cartoon my kids watch...with the little asian girl Ky-lan. She teaches them chinese on Nickelodeon. Sorry..all I can think of is "Ni-how Kay-lan" (SP) my 3 yr old loves it though.

I would think it’s a boy. I’ve never met any one named Kylan or heard the name. But I figure, Kylie is the feminine version of Kyle... So Kylan would just be another masculine version.
But the more I talk and think about it, I really could see it as either one. Like Rylan. I always pictured Rylan as a boy until my youngest brother started dating a girl named Rylan.

my nam is kylan and I’m a girl. the name kylan is unisex so tbh its fine. just know that people with mispronounce it. they will say kaylin idk why bc other is no a between the k and y. but kylan is a good name for a baby girl!!!!
