Why not spell it Mallon or Maellon because Maelyn looks like (May-lynn) and Malyn looks like (May-lyn or Mal-lyn). sorry not a fan. GL!

agree, if you already have to tell people how to say pronounce it........I would choose a different name. She is going to be asked her entire life how to say her name.

Maelyn= "MAY-lynn"
Malyn= "MAH-lynn"

Both of those are pretty. For your pronunciations.....maybe Mallon and Maylon.

The way you have it spelled, it should be pronounce May-Lynn. I would change spelling to 1st poster suggestion if you want it pronounced correctly, or get a new name. Why not Fallon?

I don’t care much for Fallon. Do you think spelling them as Mallon and Maylon would cut down on the pronunciation confusion? Even though I like the way I’ve spelled them you guys are right about the names being mispronounced. I appreciate your suggestions. Thanks.

I think the only way it would be pronounced correctly is with the spelling Mallon.

Mallon, Malyn, or even Maelyn prounounced like Fallon with an M isn’t a very pretty name. It reminds of mallard or the prefix "mal" which means bad...neither of which are flattering.

I do know a couple [removed]cently named their baby girl Maelyn, but they pronounce it MAY-lin with the emphasis on the "May".

I thought Maelyn was pretty when I thought it was pronounced May Lynn when you said it was pronounced May Lun I didn’t care for it as much. I think leaving it Maelyn and changing how you pronounce it would be good go with the pronounciation May Lynn GL

My middle name is Malyn. It’s pronounced Mah-lyn.

This is Malyn it is pronounces MAh-LYN it is a good name but is so annoying when people constantly ask me hoe to say it why not spell it like Malin that is how everyone thinks it is spelled
