BOY BOY BOY! Tatum will never be a girls name. Some boy names can sound good on a girl, but Tatum is not one of them! I really dislike this name, but prefer it on a boy over a girl.

Khailor is a bit strange, but to be honest, I dislike Tatum so much that I’d vote for Khailor.

Kaylor sounds like a girl name and worse it sounds like Killer. Tatum is all boy.

It may depend on where you’re from. I’m Australian, and here I’ve only heard of girls with this name. I’ve come across a couple of boys named Tate though.

When I said that I was thinking of the name Khailor- really that’s what my husband is thinking of, and won’t give up. I really like the names Tatum Manning and Tataum Marshall!

I really think Tatum is not a great choice for a boy. I always liked the name Christopher for a boy name! My sisters name is Tatum, and she is very offended by the comments that said it is a "all boy" name.

I named my son Tatum James because it is actually derived from the name Tate which is a BOY name. The only reason it became a popular girls name is because someone named a female actor a boy name.

I named my son Tatum Dior and I absolutely love the name although I thought I was a boy name so far all I heard was females with the name either way I love that name.

My son is Tatum Quinn. It never really crossed my mind as a girls name because everyone calls him "baby tate" and tate is definitely not a girl’s name. I also never thought Quinn could be a girls name Bc I only ever knew boys that were names Quinn but apparently it is a unisex name as well. I think Tatum is masculin.

The fact that there ARE boys and girls named Tatum makes it a unisex name. I am a girl called Tatum Scarlett Velvet (all from films) and I DO NOT have a boys name rather a name that can be used by both genders.

I named my daughter Tatum. I’ve never heard Tatum for a boy, unless it was their last name. I always think of the actress Tatum O’Neal and I fell in love with the name when I was watching a movie and a female character’s name was Tatum. I feel that Tatum sounds too soft for a boy.

Tatum is proper for either gender, but I prefer it for a boy. In my opinion, when written it looks masculine. Tate’s a strong masculine nickname. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion.

The meaning of Tatum is Joyful, Full of Spirit, Cheerful. There is no distinct sex listed so it’s gender neutral. That being said, I don’t find it masculine at all and prefer it as feminine, although I may be bias sense that is what I named my daughter 16 years ago. :)
