Cadance. I don’t like Prudence or Patience because they sound more like words than names (and yes, I know, they’ve been around for a while, but I still don’t like them). Constance has the same problem. Florence is ok and Flo is cute, but I like Cadence nn Cady better. Spelling it with a K doesn’t look as good though.

Cadence for sure, It’s more up to date and i like the way it sounds.

I love Patience it very pretty and uncommon and I like the nn pay. Cadence sounds very country and hick to me. And i don’t agree with the 1st poster all names are basically words in one language or the other and virtue names are very beautiful.

I’m opposite of other posters I love Patience Prudence Constance and Florence. Out of those my fav is Constance nn Connie!

I don’t like any of them.

Everyone is going to pick Cadence or Kadence because its the name most familiar to them and the one they hear most often so are accustomed to,its basic psychology. I would pick some not so common and boring as Cadence but would go with Patience or Florence.

I don’t really like any, but I especially dislike Prudence. I don’t find it very flattering. Patience I don’t like much either especially if your child doesn’t end up being all that patient. I suppose I’d go with Cadence because I do like the nn Cady (though I prefer Katie).

Don’t pick the boring Cadence that all the boring people on this site like!

Not true pp. I chose Cadence, but I don’t know anyone with the name. I do know two people named Florence though. But none of the others.

I chose Cadence because I’m a music teacher and I always love to talk about the "perfect cadence" in music. If you transfer that to a name, then the child would be the "perfect Cadence". That’s why I like it.

Florence because Patience, Prudence, and Constance are all so dull. Cadence is ok.

You don’t have to know lots of Cadences personally, they are all over the place anyway so you hear it often and your brain gets very used to that name. I honestly hate those type of popular names

Really sorry but absolutely HATE Payten or anything like that - it’s just one of those names i don’t understand...

I think all of them are lovely. I love names like this. very underused and pretty. I’m say way about all these made up unisex, weird spelling names, I just don’t get it either. haha have you thought of any mn’s? If i may suggest.......

I really like Constance nn Connie (it’s great if your baby is constantly crying!), no offence to any caddy’s out there, but Caddy sounds kinda cheesy and winey, but Cadence is nice, without the nn. Prudence is ok but it reminds me of prunes. And i hate prunes. Patience is pretty, but i don’t like the nn Patty, my Gran is called Patty. Florence is gorgeous, It’s like Florence and the machine, my favourite singer ever :) and the prettiest city, my favourite artist, Botacelli, lived in Florence.


Please don’t hate me for my opinion, I have the right to be on this sight!
