Sawyer vs. Austen vs. for a girl?

My husband is dead set on one of these two names for our baby girl. I am all for unisex names but I am not particularly sold on either of these. Sugestions of names that he may like that are similar would be nice. Can not use Emerson, Kendall, Talyor, Marely, or Riley. Thanks!!!!

I don’t particulary like unisex names, but I do like Austen. If her middle name was Jane it would be like Jane Austen!! Sorry I’m not sure of any other unisex names and I’m not sure if I was much help, but it would be very cute and cultured.

I do like Finley, Reese, Chandler, and Parker. Parker still is a little masculine for my tastes though. I also like Scout but it seems a little nick namey for me. I actually changed the Spelling from Austin to Austen because of Jane Austen. I just always think about TEXAS since we live in the Western US. So it is hard for me to look past. Thans for the suggestions!

Thanks I also like Carter, Brighton, and Avery...it is funny that you listed Carson and Cody...I have a brother named Carson and my dads name is Cody! LOL!

I’m definitely don’t like Sawyer, you all should save that for a boy! Austen could be cute and I do like that you changed the spelling to match Jane Austen. Here’s some other unisex names you might like:
