Wise vs. Youthful vs. Alive

While the meanings of names don’t determine which ones we like, it is nice when they’re something positive. Which meaning is the best in your opinion? We also like names that mean the following: Light, Purple, Burning Ones, and Resurrection. Does it matter that the last two are a little odd?

Alive seems like a nicer meaning. Light is also great. I wouldn’t worry about the meanings that are more odd. It’s not a big deal. People really do not pay attention to name meanings. When considering a name, if meaning is important to you, I’d consider how the name sounds before considering the meaning. GL!

I like the name Lydia - in the bible, there was a lady called Lydia that was a seller of Purple Dye. The name Lydia always makes me think of the colour purple.

I think posting a poll based on meaning can be a fun way to make a decision! Clever! I agree with the first post, wouldn’t worry too much about the meaning, my name is "an english landing spot" ... its some high end district in London that I’ve never been to. LOL and Im not offended by that :) I definately choose "Alive" though...
