Lilac vs. Lavender

Which name do you prefer for our daughter? Violet is, unfortunately, out of the question, but we do like these two similar names as well. Also, if you choose Lavender, which spelling do you prefer: Lavender or Lavendar? We’ve been receiving suggestions for both spellings. I like both and I would call Lilac, Lila, LiLi or Lavender Ava, Evy or Lala but Lavender is kinda long for a child to always have to say with no nickname

I love Lavender! It’s not too long, there are many long names that are pretty and not all names need a shortened nick name
