I like Talia. I think it looks prettier. I don’t think there will be much confusion on this unique name. Her peers and everyone will learn the correct pronunciation. I wouldn’t change the spelling to make it easier for other people to pronounce. For example, I wouldn’t change Phoebe to Feebee because some people may not be able to pronounce it. I am a fan of Talia pronounced Tal-ya. However, Talya is not horrible, it’s just not as pretty or unique looking imo.

Talya is best.
Talia is not a unique name anymore. Ive seen tons of people on here using that name and 3 ppl in my town just used that name. And its a small town.
Anyways Talya is best.

I would change the spelling. I personally pronounced it as Tah-Lee-Ah.

I wouldn’t, I think that the difference between the pn. is that great and it doesn’t matter, go with Talia because it looks pretty!

A friend of my sister-in-law is naming her baby Talia. I say it the right way, SIL says Tah lee ah. How annoying, I like traditional spellings, so I’d still go with Talia, even if she does wind up correcting people.

I would definitely do Talia. I never thought of pronouncing it Taleeuh. It looks so much pretty this way. And, I have not met one person once in my life with this name of any age, so where I am it is a unique name.
