I would spell it Veda, that seems pretty straightforward to me. If you want to keep the A as the second letter go with Vayda. Very pretty and unique name.

I would say Veida if you spell it vada everyone will mistake her name for Vah-duh her whole life and if I saw it veda I would assume it was vee-duh

I have a friend whose nn is Vaeda (from My Girl) [[spelled that way]], but in the movie it is spelled Vada.

we have a daughter and named her vaida.......from the movie as well. she is one of a kind and we love that name.

Go with Vayda, Vada, or Vaeda- something that stresses the "ay" sound. My middle name is Vaida with the ai pronounce like "eye." (Its a family name) It makes for a lot less hassle if her name is easy to pronounce. Good luck!
