Sylas vs. Silas vs. Cylas

We want to name our son Silas/Sylas, but do not know which spelling to use. We are leaning towards Sylas. Is Sylas considered a correct spelling like Brian/Bryan or trendy like Justin/Justyn? Would Cylas be considered a spelling at all. We like the Y because we think it’s more attractive and we’d rather have the nn Sy than Si. Thanks!

I don’t know about correct spelling but I like Sylas best. Cylas doesn’t look right to me.

Sylas or Silas works well. I wouldn’t think they’d be considered trendy spellings. If you use nn Sy then you should just use Sylas. Cylas looks weird to me too. I don’t think it looks as attractive as Sylas. GL
