Italian boy name vs. one or two vs. syllables?

Can anybody help me?? Looking for an Italian boy name with one or two syllables. I don’t want to find out the sex so I have to be prepared. Thanks!

Luca is nice, but it’s also a girl name. I want it to be all boy!!! Also, my friend picked that name so it’s off limits. Thanks, though!!

I love the name Mateo, though I realize that it comes out to 3 beats... But, I first heard the name while in Italy, so maybe that can count for something.

Personally Nico is my fave, and I have a friend named Nico, his mom’s having a baby boy and they were looking for Italian boy names too! They also couldn’t use Luca because they have a cousin named that
