I like Bennett and how about instead of Emmett for a future son Emerson? but that is turning into a girl name also...

I prefer Benjamin, a great name, but Bennett is second. So sorry. but when I think of Benson, I still think of an older black male butler off of the old show!

Bentley is also nice, if you don’t like that then I like Bennett better than Emmett anyway!

emerson is nice and a boy’s name. what about emmett benjamin or emerson bennett?

I wouldn’t use Bennett if you’d like to use Emmett later.. And I definately prefer Emmett to Bennett!
You could give him the name Benjamin (I prefer this to Bennett and Benson), and just call him Ben?

I liked Benjamin. I loved Benjamin. I had been planning on calling him just Benjamin or Jamie so he’d never be a Ben. Then one day I said it outloud and thought it sounded strange. I have no idea why.

Thanks, but I don’t like Bentley. I do LOVE Emerson but we already know someone through the family and work with that name. They have 5 boys so they used up a lot of the great names.

I liked Benson because it was different. It seems like a lot of people are having Bennett on their polls. Not sure if they’re real or actually using the name, though.

Are there any other -BEN- (starting or ending)names out there? Also, any middle name suggestions? My due date is Saturday.

Benson is a cute name. I really like it a lot. It’s also different than the Bennett and Bentley that seem to be a fad name lately.

I love Emmett too, and I think Benson and Emmett make a good pair. Bennett and Emmett sound funny together.

Bennett is great! I’d use that over Benson. You never know if you’ll have another boy so use Bennett!

I like both Benson and Bennett but I agree with the previous poster...if you like Bennett better use it! You really don’t know if you’ll have another boy and if you do; you may not like the name Emmett enough to use it.

I like Bennett a lot, and prefer it to Benson. However, if you’d like to keep Emmett in the running in the future, what about Benedict? I think it’s a nice way to Ben and is uncommon without being unfamiliar.

I like Benjamin best. It sounds strong and masculine. I like the thought of calling him Ben too. Cute :)
