Magnolia is a nice name, and Maggie as a nickname is good. I really like Magnolia Grace Amelia. If that doesn’t work I also like Maggie Noah(if you don’t like unisex names Noel is a nice replacement) Alexandra.

Love Magnolia. Maggie-or even Nola or something like Margo are great nns.
Lia is a totally diff. style than Magnolia, so it doesn’t work for me, despite the ending.

On to your question...

Magnolia June
Magnolia Claire
Magnolia Reese
Magnolia Eleanor
Magnolia Louise
Magnolia Susanne/Susannah
Magnolia Esther
Magnolia Ruby
Magnolia Alice
Magnolia Lucille

Also, because it’s a very southern name in flavor, I’d suggest looking at family surnames.
It’s quite common in the south for little girls to have a maiden name as their mn, and if you have something suitable to honor family, I think it would have a nice flow. Also, Magnolia is so very feminine, that I think something a bit more boyish in flavor is a nice balance, even though those aren’t usually my style.

Did you name your daughter Magnolia? That’s what I named my daughter, and we chose it because it’s was so unique...apparently not! LOL Her middle name is Lorraine. We call her Noli.

Awesome...after several months we finally decided to name our daughter Magnolia. Despite enormous resistance, furrowed brows, polite smiles...Geez, there was so little support. But then, we love it. We are Southerners, we fell in love here. She will be born in New Orleans and raised in Mississippi (which the magnolia is the state flower for both). We plan to call her Maggie. Im SO glad you loved the name and gave it to your daughters too!

My husband and I are both from Mississippi(but currently live in NC) and we were thinking about using Magnolia for our daughter’s name as well. I’m resistant just because it is so different, but it feels right. I also am leaning toward the nickname Nola. Anyway I am glad to see that you used it! Do people seem to like it when you introduce her?
