Claire Jade vs. Clara Jade vs. Hannah Jade

Okay, so. Jade is after my sister-in-law, who past away two years ago. We really want to keep it as the middle name. My husband loves the name Claire for a first name. He says it’s practically the only name he can imagine not getting sick of over time. However, we’re not sure if Claire Jade flows very well.. So we thought of Clara Jade. It sounds nice and we like it, but we still love Claire so much more. I love the name Hannah, and its the only one on my list that my husband rated as a 9, with all the others rating 3 or 4. Which name do you think we should go with? If you don’t think Claire Jade flows very well, can you think of a way that we can keep the first name Claire, and still honor Jade? Two middle names perhaps? Would that flow better? Thanks in advance!

I love Claire too, and it sounds like you and her husband really want to use it! Hannah Jade is nice, but I can tell it isn’t your favorite. :) What about Claire Jada? it flows much nicer, and you’re still honoring Jade. Such a beautiful name. Hope I helped and good luck! :)

I like Hannah Jade but Clara Jade works too. Claire Jade doesn’t work imo.

First thing - they are all beautiful choices, so don’t worry. You can’t go wrong. I love the name Claire! If you both love Claire, use it, but I agree that Claire needs a 2+ syllable middle name. I suggest Jada. It’s a Hebrew name that means "wisdom" and is very close in sound and spelling to Jade, but flows better. Clara Jade is beautiful as well, but I’ll bet your sister-in-law would rather see you completely happy with your daughter’s name.

I like the flow of Hannah Jade best. But if you mix it up Claire Jada or Claire Jadyn would be pretty. GL

I know a Jane Claire who goes by both mns. What about Jade Claire? My vote goes to just Claire though, with two mns.
