/Laur/ does not create the sound /Lo/

What is the point of giving a child a name and then not using it? Calling a child Lo is not very cool!

I guess you could use Lo.
It kind of sounds like "get low" and other unnattractive terms, ("ohhh, that was low!") but as a part-time, family nickname, its cool.
