I really don’t view this as a girls name no matter how you spell it. Maybe consider Ashlyn, Ashley or Astrid (if you want something different). That’s just my thoughts though
I completely agree with the previous posters. When I hear Ashton, I think boy, all boy! Same if I were to see it--unless spelled in one of the alternate ways you give, in which case I would alter my mental picture to "tomboy"! Of course, this is my humble opinion. =) GL!

The only Ashtons I know are girls. I think that it is a fine name for a girl and that it is not ALL BOY.lol
