Maxim vs. Maximo vs. Maximus

Do you like any of these names? Alexander would be the middle name, and they all go well with the last name. The nick name would be Max. He would always go by Max, but we want a longer formal name. And no, not Maxwell or Maximilian. Please be nice! I really like Maximo and don’t understand why people have issues with it. Its of Spanish Origin, and we are Spanish. Thanks for input!

I like Maximus. To me Maximo sounds like a dog or superhero.

I would spell Maxim like Maksim because of...well google Maxim if you don\’t know!
You can still call him Max even if it is spelled differently, or you could just call him Maks and be different.

Maximo is adorable! go with it if you love it.
Maxim makes me think of the magazine.
Maximus makes me think of gludius maximus. lol:)

Maximo is just plain adorable and will be handsome when he grows up. Gl!

Maxim is not a good idea (the magazine ruined that one) and Maximus is just so Gladiator sounding. Maximo is really great, it sounds cool but not made up and lame =)

Maximus is on the Gladiator, my mom named our dog that.
Max is my fave. I have a cousin who is named Max, not even a year yet.
