How vs. Should I vs. Spell Kiley?
Kiley is my favorite name EVER! My husband and I are having a little girl and are so glad we get to use it! I was just wondering how should we spell it? I’m not a fan of the spellings: Kylie, Kyley, Kyleigh, or Kylee. The "y" seems kiddish to me. I like Kiley, but my sister has a son named Riley. The two will grow up together. I understand that they will have practically the same name, but I LOVE this name and I don’t want to spell them similar. Please give suggestions! Thanks! ~Tina, Joe, and Joey(4)

Kylie is definitely the best spelling.
If you really want to stay away from the Y, you could spell it Kileigh, but it would be spelled wrong her whole life.

The name no matter how it’s spelled is kiddish, so I think you should just go with whatever spelling you want.

Usually putting a y in place of another vowel does look kiddish, but in this case Kylie is the traditional spelling so I think it looks classy and appropriate. The other spellings look creative and kiddish imo.

i like kylee and kyleigh....but since yu dont, try kilee .. well idk if youll like it, but others r kiley kylie, kileigh, .. my fav is kylee personlally.. hope this helps

My daughter is 12 and her name is Kiley. I love her name but my experience has been that most people want to spell her name Kylie. The name Kiley wasn’t as popular over 12 years ago as it is now. Had I known that name would grow in popularity I would have made the spelling Kylie. Just to keep it simple. Although, I am part Irish and have an Irish name and the proper spelling for an Irish girl is Kiley. So I love that we both have proper Irish names.
