Honest opinions vs. on Arbor (girl)

I recently found out that I’m pregnant, with a girl and I’ve been going through polls on this website reading the names. I came across the name Arbor and liked it a lot. What are your honest opinions? Thanks!- Anna

I actually love it.

The only drawback I can think of (besides just not being to everyones style) is that she might get called "Arbor mist"

Similar names I love are Arden, Adair, and Briar.

Arbor is okay. I do like (a lot) pp’s suggestions of Arden and Briar. :)

River is also another pretty name (like the girl on Firefly - I miss that show! lol).

lol - well, I think there’s a good chance this little Arbor wouldn’t be from Albania and a wife-beater! ;)

But I can see how that would make you less fond of the name.

I never thought about it. It makes me think of Arbor Day, but I love trees, so that’s not really a problem.
I don’t like "different" names most of the time, but I have no problem with this one. It’s cute.

We named our baby girl who was born this summer Arbor, and I we have had more compliments on her name. I love it because it is so unique and it is a strong name for a girl. My husband and I could not be happier with the name we gave her. Congratulations and enjoy your precious little one!
