I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it. It’s better than Graceyn, Elliot or Ryan on a girl.

There’s something kind of industrial-sounding about it. How about Britta?

Whoa rude first poster. Who calls out people on their childens’ names?

Anywho... I don’t think its "bad", but it reminds me of a Britta water filter thing and Bristol Palin.

It sounds like a soda or water filter or something

why not Brittyn or Bristol??

If you love it, use it! I’ve heard much worse names.

A cleaning product -- something that cleans as well as something involving bristles. Or a misspelling of Krista, which everyone will "correct."

’Um...People on a naming site???
The poster wasn’t mentioning names of the op’s kids; just names she doesn’t like in general.

Back to this poll....

I quite like Britta and Britt.
I’ve also heard of Brisa (Like Lisa with a B).
Brista, for some reason, isn’t appealing.
I agree with others that it does seem to sound like some kind of "thing." Maybe because it’s close to barista?

I’m not a fan of Brittyn (misspelled place name-ugh) or Bristol, however.
Be aware that Bristol sounds very close to slang for a woman’s b*easts in England. Got a lot of chuckles over there during the election.

Brit or Britta would get my heary endorsement.

Bliss (if you’re brave!)

OK, so I’m probably the only one who thinks this, but when I say it out loud it sounds way too much like "breasts" for comfort.
I love Brynn, Britta, Bridget, etc, but that one I’m not loving.
