middle vs. name for vs. violet!

Hey everyone, my husband and I are having a really hard time coming up with a great middle name for Violet! Any suggestions? We’re getting a lot of family pressure for Violet Marie, which we’re ok with, but it would be nice to hear some unbiased opinions :) Thanks!

I think Marie flows with Violet better than any other name. Violet is so pretty that something as simple and old-fashioned as Marie is very pretty with it.

My favorite is Violet Everly. I tried, unsucessfully, to get my husband on board for that one, but we ended up with something completely different.

Agree Violet Marie is boring. Violet sounds best to me with a three syllable middle name. I like the suggestion Violet Gabrielle. Some others:

i think Violet Marie is pretty, but it is a bit of a filler, how about Violet Maria/Mariana/Mary/Mariam/Maribel etc as a compromise? or..

I also agree that Violet Marie is predictable. Marie is a very common middle name. I like Violet Everly, Violet Evelyn,Violet Elodie.

I love Violet Afton but the husband won’t go for it! One of the girls at work suggested Violet Piper... I really like Maeve as well, its really different!
