Full name for vs. Novie/Novi

I love the nickname Novie but I feel like it needs a longer more substantial full name. I posted a poll earlier, but then realized that Novena sounds horrible with my last name, and have read on other posts that Novalie comes off as trashy. I don’t care for just Nova... any other suggestions would be much appreciated!

Don’t pick Novella ^^, sounds like telenovela. I don’t think Novalie or Novalee sounds trashy at all. People all have their own opinions and I think the name is cute! It makes the name girly too! I like it!

I LOVE the name Novalie! Who ever said it was trashy is out of their mind. Sometimes people on this site are just super critical.

Hmmm... I really like Novalee, I may just add that on to my list. :) Thanks! (don’t know what we’re having yet)

Love the first posters suggestion for Novella. Novalie is not trashy in my opinion, so go for that if you like it. Another suggestion is Novia pronounced NO-vee-uh or no-VEE-uh. GL

If you live where there’s a large Hispanic community, Novena and Novella would not be considered pretty at all!

I love Novalie. I say go for it!

If not, have you thought about combined names, like Nova-Rae, Nova-Riley, Nova-Kate, Nova-Marie, or Nova-Shay?

there is Novia, but it’s Spanish for girlfriend. might sound a little odd if you live in a Hispanic area
