Lucia vs. Lia

My name is Lucia and I’m from Mexico, where it’s common to name babies after their parents. I am thinking of naming my daughter Lucia (Loo-cee-ah) and have her nn be Lia (Lee-ah), or have her name be simply Lia, so we don’t have the exact same name. What do you think?

I think you should go with Lucia and call her Lia.
