Lalo vs. Wayo

I’m naming my son Juan Eduardo, and I’m not sure what nickname to use. Lalo is pronounced LAW-LOW and Wayo is WHY-O, both are common spanish nicknames for Eduardo. Which one sounds better to American ears?
