Be prepared. The name Pixie has been on at least 4 polls, and almost always gets the same, negative reaction- " cute for a girl, not professional enough for a woman", or " sounds like a stripper".... You will also get other suggestions, like Beatrix or Bellatrix, nn Trixie, which personally, I think are great suggestions. There appears to be no good " full names" for Pixie.

I don’t agree with it not being ’professional’ enough for a woman. Times change and so do names. My daughters name is Lola and i’ve had so many bad comments from ’older’ people about her name but nowadays she won’t be the only one with this name. I think the right person would have no trouble pulling off a name like that. I personally would have loved a more unusual name but my parents were not very adventurous! :) If you have fallen in love with this name then go for it!

Are you seriously giving suggestions for middle names for Pixie? Like Pixie Stix? The candy? A future daughter could be Skittles. And brother Snickers. I try not to be rude on this site, and I try to be open minded, but this is just ridiculous. I seriously have tried, but I can not imagine someone with the full name of Pixie. I even asked my co-workers here if it was a reasonable name, and they all laughed. Please name her Bellatrix or heck, even Anastasia or Cinderella. But not Pixie. Think about what your baby girl would go through, instead of just thinking about wanting something different.
