Lola Belle vs. or not?
My husband and I love the name Lola for a girl, but the few people we have mentioned it to think that it sounds like a \’stripper/[removed]\’. I think it is a really cute, fun loving name. Thoughts??? Be honest!

Well in the song Lola, Lola was a man.
Lola is a nice name. A friend of mine typed in Holly and got her as the next playboy bunnie. So don’t worry about it. Plus, the strippers are going to be named Candy and Apple not Lola.

I don’t think stripper, but it’s always sounded totally snotty, rude diva kind of name to me. I personally find it a little tacky. It just sounds like a drama queen to me.
Lola would be cute as a nickname for something. I know Madonna’s daughter Lourdes is nicknamed Lola.

I think Lola is unique and different and I love it!! I would go with Lola Grace or Lola May. Lola Elaine maybe.

I love it and have met 2 in the last few weeks (both preschoolers, not strippers). I would maybe consider a different middle name unless Belle has a special meaning for you.
