Aleydis Nicknames vs. Please Help!!

I love the name Aleydis, and we are using it, so no need to tell me otherwise :) I do not want the NN "Allie" at all, and I want to avoid the uber-popular "Addie" as well. I will post ideas in the first comment. Thank you moms and dads!!!

It is pronounced "uh-LAY-dis." It is a variant form of Adelaide, which is too trendy for me right now, but I loved.

I like Leida too, and I have also heard Aleida as a NN.

Then again, this is a preemtive strike! I would of course PREFER that everyone call her Aleydis!

I would probably call her "Lady" or Lady bug from the uh-LAY-dis. I guess these are more at home nn’s or when she is little. I don’t really get where Edie came from bc the prn doesn’t sound like that at all.
