well i have always seen the name Zane as a nickname itself so i think it would be silly to have a nickname for it other then usually nicknames for boys like stinky or bubba an so on i have seen it used like this

The name is too short to have a nn. Your own nn’s will just come over time with him. :)

Call him Zane and see what nicknames develop as you get to know him.

It is already one syllable.....it cannot be shortened further unless you use an initial -- Zee. If you must have a nn why not Zander nn Zane.

Nicknames do not necessarily have to be shorter than the names themselves. I think Zay-Zay, or Zay is a cute nn that loved ones can use affectionately.

My husband and I chose Zane as our son’s name. so far he has been referred to as Zanster & Zamous.
