Penelope Jo vs. Mackenzie Jo vs. Audrina Jo

Trying to come up with a unique name for a girl. I would like to pass down my middle name, Jo, as it has been in my family for three generations. Our last name is Trick, which proves to be a bit tricky! With a last name like this, we need strong and unique first names. Here are three of names that I have come up with so far. Feel free to make other suggestions as well!

Thanks for the suggestions! I LOVE the name Madeleine, and it was once on my list, but unfortunately my sister-in-law chose it for our niece’s middle name. Kinda disappointed because it NEVER even gets used!

Yes, Drina and Kenzie are both very cute! All of these names are fun because they have several possible nicknames for everyone to use!

Wow, Luweia! That’s quite the list! Can you tell me more about the history of the name Audrina? I would love to hear what you know!

Luweia: I like the name Aleksandrite from your list! That is my husband’s birthstone, with a very creative spelling!

Oh hey thank you! Well, as I learned it, Audrey entered the name realm 1000 years ago with the English Language, and once travel in Europe improved (hardly) emigrants and outsiders brought their names with them. Audrina was (at the time) a modern mix between Russian gentry names such as Alexandra and the well-known English name Audrey. It did go from Alexandra to Alexandrina and eventually hit Audrina. Audrina has its own meaning still, "of noble strength" and influenced by names such as Alexandra (from Alexander, protecter of mankind, strength and intelligence) it has come to mean "intelligent strength" as well. (although most name sites only list it as an Audrey variant)
It’s so nice that you like the Aleksandrite spelling! I am actually very interested in Russian name variants, and the "ks" instead of x is softer and has a more creative feminine elegance. Its a very gorgeous birthstone as well! Thanks for the feedback on the list!

sorry I couldn’t be more concise!
