Lorelie (Lor-e-lye) vs. Leila (Lay-La) vs. Kalila (Ka-Ly-La)

Time to start thinking about final baby names! Baby is to be due sometime in April. My hubby and I have worked hard to narrow down to these names so the first name is set. Middle name is still up in the air! Any suggestions with your favorite name will be greatly appreciate. Thanks, John and Kim

I think lor-e-lye is spelled Lorelei. My vote is Leila. Kalila doesn’t have as nice of a sound as the other two. :)

Thanks for the comments. I know the common spelling is Lorelei, but my husband and I decided on Lorelie. We like how it looks better and have a family member named Eleanor and nicknamed Ellie. Thanks though! Any comments are great!

Thank you. I also like Lorelie. My husband is actually leaning more towards Kalila but I think this might change his mind!

These are the first names. We are yet to even try and find a middle name. For us, that is more of a minor step than finding a first name we love. Do you have any suggestions?

if we go with lorelie off of the choses you gave us we like Lorelie Lily. Even know it is a little to many l’s i like the sound i has. leila rose is good to. I guess for such an exotic first name, we have to stick with a somewhat common middle (:
