Yan vs. Jan vs. Ian

Which spelling and what middle names to go with it? It is pronounced YAHN, not EE an, and we don’t like it spelled Yann. Thanks ~Janet and Dave

Yan is the only one that will be said right so go with that one. What about yan David

I think Jan is the real spelling for it. I would spell it that way. People would say "jan" but correct them once and it’d be fine.

Jan or Ian. I can actually pronounce Jan more easily than I can Yan. Yan sounds like a combination of Yam and Yen.

I automatically said Yahn when I saw the spelling Yan, all the others i said Jan or Ian.

I like Yan. I am afraid the other two may be mispronounced.
