Vada? vs. Full name suggestions?

I love the name Vada, as in the undertaker’s daughter in MY GIRL. My problem is that I’d rather it be a nickname. Do you think Vada is fine on it’s own? If not, do you have any names that it could be short for?

I don’t think there is one. It’s a full name on it own. Just because it’s short doesn’t mean it’s not a full name. If you love Vada then go for it.

Vayda, Vaida spellings maybe make it feel more complete to you? I think it is great on its own.
