Sly vs. and vs. Whit

I was at the mall the other day and I saw this woman with twin boys. She was calling them ’Sly’ and ’Whit’ for nns. Later I discovered that ’Sly’ was named Sylvester. And it got me wondering, what could ’Whit’ be a nn for? What do you think?

I have loved the nicknames Sly and Whit since I saw Baby Geniuses! LOL. I think they are adorable, but they could also be cool as the kids get older. I think the best name for Whit would be Whitman.
