Need H Name vs. With Nickname vs. Suggestions Wanted
I need help with choosing a name for my child. My kids are Joanne (Jo), Katherine (Katie), Lukas (Luke), Milena (Milly) and Isabelle (Ibby). For this baby, we really want a name beginning with ’H’ which has a nice nickname option, preferably also starting with ’H’. All we have come up with so far is Harriet (Harri), but it’s not blowing me away.
Thanks for any suggestions.

I’ll third Henrietta, Hettie/Hattie/Etta. Definitely distinctive (and here in NE she’ll fit in easily with all the other old lasy names coming back (Some of my Fifi’s playmates are Edie/Edith, Maudie/Maud & Flora/Florence!)
The only other H names that even remotely appeal to me are:
Helena/Helen
Honora
Hope
Haidee (it really is an old, literary name)
Hillary (the GIRL version)
Honey
and that’s it really.

I like the suggestion of Harriet with the nn Hattie. All these names seem to be coming back and it blends in nice with the other girls’ names.

My great great aunt was Henrietta and they called her Hattie. You could use that nn for Harriet also. I think Hattie is so much cuter than Harri.
