Definitely Bodey to get the pn you are looking for. not a fan of Bodie.. it makes me think of Bodies so I think Bodey is definitely the way to go.

Is it for a girl or a boy? If it is a boy, you might try Beaudey. I think that Bodey is a Finish name, maybe you could find a Finish baby name site that would suggest some good spellings. I knew a woman from Finland named Bodil (pn Bo-dill) but a lot of people thought her name was pn Bottle.

The way you spelled it for pronunciation, I think looks the best. Bodee or you could try Boedy Boedee Boedi Boedie so that people dont call him body. just ideas.

I think Bodie is quite feminine so either Bodey or Boedy in my opinion.
