Constance vs. Temperance vs. Prudence (Prue)

I realize some people don’t like "word names" but I believe all names originated from words to begin with whether or not they are English words. I need help choosing between these names and I’m also open to middle name ideas. Thanks!

I like the three names - Prudence is very nice, Temperance too and you could call Constance "Connie" if you wanted to. It’s a cute nn. I’d choose Constance. Good luck!

omg. please! I pray your last name is no longer than 4 letters. If you even go w/Prudence....her nn from kids will be prude. Temperance??? Your best bet would be Constance, nn Connie or Stan...i guess

I voted Constance because it seemed the least problematic of the three as far as nicknames go. But, I agree with the other posters, if you want a name that ends in -ance, Patience is pretty. Yet, it is another name kids can make fun of. Anyhow, for what it is worth, my opinion would be if these were the choices, to go with either Constance or Patience. Good luck!
