Spelling vs. for vs. Andrea (ahn-dray-ah)

My husband and I are having our second child, our first daughter. We want her name to be Anne Andrea, but we can’t figure out how to spell Andrea so that it is obviously pronounced ahn-dray-ah, but still looks good with Anne. Help! She is joing Grayson Keith. Thanks, Joey and Yvonne

I’ve seen it Ondrea, Ahndreya, Andreya, Ondreya and even Ondrayah. Some of these are a little out there, I know but that is the only way to make it obvious. You could just spell it Andrea and tell people how to pronounce it. All names can be misprononced in some way. Good luck!

Since it is the middle name, it really does not matter as much. I have known of a few Aundrea’s though, and all pronounced it the way you like.

I think Aundrea would be the best way to spell it.
