Kaidence/ Kaydence vs. Caidence/ Caydence
Finally made up my mind about my daughters name. It will be Kaidence Olivia. (KAY-Dense)
But now we’re not sure about the spelling we don’t want the original one Kadence/Cadence, we’re leaning towards either an "i" or "y" and also we’re not sure about the "k" or "c". So if y’all can help that would be sooooooo great ! :)
The Top Baby Name is...
Kaidence/ Kaydence
Caidence/ Caydence

I guess it’s safe to say that the "c" is out. :)
I like them both with an "i" and a "y" so it’s gonna be a tough call but either way it’s cute. This is going to sound a little weird but I like writing Kaydence but when I look at it I think Kaidence is better so I don’t know.
Yes we looked at all the spelling possibilities and I think that the "e" is a little toooo much and we we’re also looking at a "s" instead of a "c" but it just looks too much. "Kaedence/Kaidense"
Thank y’all !

Honestly, don’t make your daughter’s life complicated. If you’re going for a different pronunciation, then by all means change the spelling. If you want it said Cadence then spell it Cadence!

I love Cadence, because it’s not just the original spelling of a name, it’s meaning goes beyond that... "cadence" is a word that means "rhythm," "beat," or "measure." It’s also a musical term. I love it as a girl’s name because it makes me think of a girl with her own cadence... marching to her own rhythm, so to speak, and creating her own music. When you change the spelling, you lose the depth of it’s meaning.
If you opt not to use Cadence, I suppose Kaidence would be my suggestion... but it’s a cheap imitation, and a far cry from the beauty of Cadence, in my true opinion.

I love Cadence but if you’re set on spelling it a different way I would choose Caidence. Personally I just think it looks prettier with a C

I have a 7 month old daughter named Cadence Olivia. The only other spelling I liked was Kadence. Hubby didn’t like the K, so we went with the C. I really don’t like this name spelled any other way. GL!
