Valley? vs. Vallie? vs. other spellings?

Hey ladies. The other day I saw the name Vallie on her, and me and my husband have absolutely fallen in love with it. Which spelling would you use? Valley or Vallie? Can you suggest other spellings? Also, any middle name ideas? Thank you! - Rose & Ethan

Vallie is a short form for Valerie and perhaps Valeria.

I think Vallie is a cute nickname, but not the best given name.

for full names with the nn Vallie I like:

I also only know Valley/Vallie as a nickname for Valerie. Still, if you want to use if for a first name by itself, then that is fine too. As a full name, I like the Valley spelling best.

Have you ever considered the name Hallie? It’s a very similar version of the name you want and you can spell it Halley, Halle, Hallie, Halleigh.... just a suggestion.
