I think Vanna or Anna is a better nn for Savannah. There will be a lot of little girls wth the name Ava, so your daughter probably wouldn’t be able to go by that at school.

my name is savannah and i love it! i have to admit i dont suit the name at all with the way i look! my dads african and my older brother is naturally tanned, dark haired and brown eyed. therefore, i got called savannah. however, i am blonde hair and blue eyed. ive never in my life been called ava, only sav, which looks bad written down but i dont mind being called it at all. if id have been given a middle name it would have been aliyah/aaliyah, which sounds great. i honestly prefer savannah to hannah, but then prefer hanna to hannah. i get the odd mis-pronounciation but mainly mis-spellings. savanna, savana, savanah, that is the only struggle with the name savannah
