Girl name to compliment vs. Afina Neulai
We have one adopted daughter, Afina Neulai. Afina is prn. Uh-feena, and Neulai is prn. New-Leye (long I sound). She is Romanian and 9 years old. We are shocked to finally be having a baby of our own. We tend towards normal and common names in our preferences, but we also want our new daughter’s name to compliment Afina’s as well. Any ideas for a middle ground? It’s hard to explain really because each agency has it’s own rules. There are definite guidelines that they all have to follow, but each one is really different.
I’d encourage you to really think about it hard. It is much more exhausting and difficult than we thought it would be and we waited 11 years for a child. Three times the child we’d been lined up with fell through before we were matched with Afina.
Cost can vary depending on the country you adopt from.
If you want a lot of imformation, check out Holt International. This is where we began and they were really great.
