Tycen vs. Tyson vs. Tysen

I want to name my son Tyson but don’t want peoples first thought to be Mike Tyson or chicken. I found these variations of the name. Which spelling is best? I will probably end up calling him Ty or Tyce as a nick name. If you have any other suggestions for the name please let me know. If you have any other names that start with TY besides Tyler.

I like the suggestion of just naming your child Ty. It works and it’s easy to spell.

I find Ty a bit abrupt on a 40 year old, myself. I’d rather Tyrone (subtley sexy), Tybalt (Shakespeare) or even the surname Tyrell over Tyson spelled any way at all. But if you really love Tyson, then use it, but spell it properly (Chicken & boxer nothwithstanding), because sooner than you think, people will associate Tyson with your son over anything. They’ll know him.
