makiah vs. makaya vs. makayah

not sure how to spell this name. i love the name. my parents found it. its actually a man’s name from the bible but i like it for a girl. i definitely want it spelled with a "k" as it looks more feminine and it would make it more of a namesake twist of people in my family. i also need middle names. thanks! last name is pronounced like "sprole"

I love this name!

The traditional spellin is Macaiah (I think). But I prefer the spelling Makaiah or Makiah. I also like Makiyah. Good luck!

Kaiah is a great nn (or however you wind up spelling it)

not nicole because it rhyms with the last name. i dont like the name renee and paige doesn’t flow as well. i wish i could use nicole though cuz my best friend’s name is nicole and i love how it sounds!

Makiah is my daughters name it’s not only differant but beautiful. Her name means eagel hunter just incase you wanted to know.HEr middle name is Bree, like the first poster said Kiah is a great nn to call her or him but I think for him it should be makia!! well I don’t know alot of mn because trust me it took me forever myself but good luck!!

My granddaughter name is Makaya Ann Rose, it is a lovely name and she lives up to it. It is pronounced Ma-kay-a as K not ky.
