It is not pn em-may OR EMMY.
It is pronounced like the letter M.
Would you pn the name Elle like Ellie or Elle-ay? No.

Poster here - I would never think Em-may. I am from a bilingual English/French Canadian province and although I’m anglophone myself, I was a French Immersion student so part of me thinks Emme, but it seems like it is commonly used as Em-mee. I prefer the pronunciation of Em-mee, but like the look of Emme. I was testing the waters to see how likely people would pronounce it as intended if we go with the Emme spelling. Thanks for all the input!
